Michigan-Compliant Referral Program Disclosure
Referral Rewards Program Disclosure: No purchase or obligation is required to participate. Referrals must be new to Jacobs Financial Services (“JFS”) and attend a scheduled no-obligation retirement strategy session (in-person or virtual) to qualify. A qualified referral results in one (1) gift card reward to the referring client and one (1) entry into applicable prize drawings. Gift cards are limited to one per referred household. Referrals are not required to become clients or purchase any products or services.
Quarterly Drawings: Each qualified referral counts as one (1) entry into the quarterly drawing held at the end of the corresponding quarter. Entries that do not win roll over into subsequent quarterly drawings within the same calendar year.
Grand Prize Drawing: All qualified referrals from January 1 through December 31 of the program year (including any non-winning quarterly entries) will be automatically entered into the annual grand prize drawing. The winner will receive a Michigan Weekend Getaway package, including a two-night stay at a designated location, a $200 restaurant gift card, and a welcome basket. Prize must be redeemed within six (6) months of issuance.
Eligibility: Participants must be age 21 or older and legal residents of the State of Michigan. Employees of Jacobs Financial Services, their immediate family members, and household residents are not eligible. Void where prohibited.
Taxes: The value of rewards and prizes may be considered taxable income to the recipient. Any and all federal, state, and local taxes, and all other costs associated with acceptance or use of rewards, are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
Odds of Winning: Odds of winning a quarterly or grand prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Program Changes: Jacobs Financial Services reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Rewards Program at any time without prior notice.
Miscellaneous: Participation constitutes agreement to these terms and consent for JFS to announce winners via email, website, or social media. All decisions by JFS regarding the program and prize eligibility are final.
